By default, SCRAMNet limits are not enabled in Pulsar on the Servotest Controller. In order to enable these limits, follow these steps:

  1. Create or start a System in Pulsar.
  2. Click the 'Analogue Limits Configuration' tab at the bottom on the screen.
  3. Click the 'New' button to create a new Limit object.
  4. Type in a name for the Limit, i.e. 'scrDisp 1 Limit'
  5. Choose a SCRAMNet signal for the Limit, i.e. 'Displ cmd 1 scr'. All SCRAMNet signals have the postfix 'scr'.
  6. Set appropriate Action.
  7. Set Positive and Negative limits relative to DSP units. For instance, 'Displ cmd 1 scr' has a scale of 500mm. Therefore, to set the limit for 'Displ cmd 1 scr' to be +/-100, take 100/500 for the positive limit and -100/500 for the negative limit. This gives you 0.2 and -0.2, respectively.
