Configuring LinkXchange for SCRAMNet Loop
From Lehigh RTMD Wiki
Each SCRAMNet card is assigned a port number depending on where it is situated in the LinkXchange, starting with Port 1 from right to left.
To configure SCRAMNet loop, connect 9-pin serial cable from a VT-100 compatible terminal or Hyperterm using Windows at 9600-8-N-1 with no hardware flow control.
Type ‘ST’ to display the status of the system. It should show you which ports are active by a preceding **.
To enable the loop, type the following:
SL [loop number] [Port#Port#Port#...Port#] Example : SL 1 1a2a7a
This example will create a loop with the 1A 1B, 2A 2B, 7A 7B pairs. Type ‘ST’ again to view the status and see that the loop has been configured.
