Create DAQ Database XML

This file is necessary for the Metadata Generator to synchronize SCRAMNet channels and if a DAQ-only data turbine source is being created SCRAMNet with Data Turbine#Creating a Turbine XML From DAQ.

1. Open or create a new a Pacific Instruments configuration file and save as an MDB (Access) file
2. Copy the database file to c:\nees\ and rename to "data recording.mdb" (overwriting the previous if necessary)
3. Make a copy of "neesdaqConfig.xml_hardware_config" and name it "neesdaqConfig.xml" (removing the previous if necessary)
4. Double-click "update xml" (make sure PI660-6000 is not previewing or recording)
5. Right-click c:\nees\neesdaqConfig.xml and Open with Wordpad
6. Search for "<CalibrationType" and if there are special characters in the rows, delete all <CalibrationType rows. Save and exit
7. Copy over to RTMDsim for the Metadata Generator or copy to RTMDtele for use in Data Turbine.

This file is now ready to be ingested when the DAQ Database XML is requested.
