High Volume Pumps and Accumulators

Accumulator Shutdown Procedure
- Shut high volume pumps off (pumps 4, 5, 6).
- Hit accumulator control panel E-Stop button to flush accumulators. Wait about 15 minutes for oil to flush out of accumulator banks. The flushing noise will stop.
- In the pump house, open the two (2) valve levers pulling them up in the back.
- Turn the two valve wheels to the right labeled #3 to close them.
- Open #4 labeled value.
- Close both #5 labeled valves.
- Change limit on digital control panel to what the label states (around 15.10).
Enable High Flow pumps after Accumulator Shutdown
- Shut high volume pumps off (pumps 4, 5, 6).
- At the accumulator manifold, make sure the pressure gauges are 0.
- At the accumulator control panel, flip switch so green LED is enabled.
- Press green start button. Two red LEDs should be enabled on the accumulator manifold.
- High volume pumps can be turned on now.
Charging Accumulators
- Shut high volume pumps off (pumps 4, 5, 6).
- At the accumulator manifold, make sure the pressure gauges are 0.
- At the accumulator control panel, flip switch so red LED is enabled.
- Press green start button. Three red LEDs should be enabled on the accumulator manifold.
- High volume pumps can be turned on now.
